Tank for the collection and storage of milk with a conical 15 degree bottom and housed on feet. Insulation of the tank is achieved with very low thermal conductivity materials and it is covered with a fully-welded external shell. To achieve the very low temperatures necessary for stabilisation, high-efficiency cooling jackets are applied, while operating pressure is atmospheric. Basic equipment includes total discharge, a side inspection port, a roof aerator, a level gauge and a CIP device. The product is stirred with the use of a special lateral stirrer, thus ensuring homogenisation. For larger tanks, a vertical access ladder with a safety cage is offered for access to the roof, as well as protective railings and a footstop all around the roof.
